Any advice for crockpotting barbecue sauce and beef ribs boneless?

A few years ago I tried and it was too watery and not collect flavor. Last year I tried and got very very dark and unrecognizable. I have some to try again tomorrow and I'd really like for them to come out! By Please let me know if you have any advice!

I have researched some on the internet and I found two different recipes. This may help. A recipe for beef ribs as requested – the other is BBQ pork. Maybe you can only modify the recipes a little as you need. MEAT Short Ribs 2 Tbsp flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 / 8 teaspoon black pepper 3 pounds beef short ribs 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 onion slice, sliced 1 / 2 cup red wine Dry 1 / 2 cup chili sauce 3 tablespoons brown sugar 3 tablespoons vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 / 2 teaspoon dry mustard 1 / 2 teaspoon chili powder 2 tablespoons flour 1 / 4 cup water in a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons flour, salt, and pepper. The short coat ribs with flour mixture. In a skillet large, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown short ribs in olive oil. In a slow cooker, combine the onion, wine, chili sauce, sugar brown, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and chili powder. Mix well. Transfer the short ribs from the skillet to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Remove ribs, and turn the control of slow cooker to High. Mix the remaining 2 tablespoons flour with 1 / 4 cup water and stir into the sauce. Cook for 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened. BBQ PORK RIBS 1 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons chili sauce 1 / 4 cup water 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 / 4 teaspoon hot sauce 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 / 2 teaspoon of seeds celery 1 / 4 teaspoon black pepper 3 tablespoons brown sugar 2 pounds pork country style ribs 1 onion cut in rings 1 red pepper cut into rings In a bowl, combine tomato sauce, chili sauce, water, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, chili powder, garlic powder, celery seed, black pepper, and brown sugar. Place pork ribs in a slow cooker, and layer with onion and red pepper. Pour the sauce into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 8 hours.

Barbecue Tips

Not so many moons ago I wrote an article titled "how to make the Perfect Barbecue" in which he lambasted most of my friends to food burning on the barbecue and shared my essential tips to ensure a perfect barbecue every time. An alternative way of saying it is "How to barbecue without fire" because the secret to charcoal cooking (and indeed gas barbecue) is sizzle and not flames.

The fat in food is mobilized in the heat, it trickles on generated by coal smoke to flavor the food. What we want is to hear the sizzle but no flames because flames char the outside of the food that leaves us at best semi raw something to eat and at worst in bed with food poisoning. Easy huh?

Well, it's pretty easy if you have a barbecue with adjustable shelf height, but if you're the outdoor type true light that travels well may have a tray disposable charcoal barbecue. If you are not familiar with the disposable barbecue grill is essentially an aluminum can filled with paper from the tray of charcoal lump of wood and a light mesh cover. At the top of the charcoal is a mat impregnated with oil that once kindled is all it takes to light the grill is making them ideal when traveling light or for cooking, while at a picnic. One thing is clear and that if there is no height adjustment of the grid and this means that one is careful not to burn the food, more on that in a minute.

The main advantages of this device is that is lightweight and portable, is very quick to get started and also really cheap so for a few dollars more can certainly adds a new dimension to your picnic. Having recommended trying one of these trays I think it is important to note the disadvantages of cooking them so here are my essential tips for cooking on a disposable barbecue grill: —

1. Sometimes the lighting can mat and leave that it satisfies your hunger is totally dependent on the kitchen remember to take a lighter as back up – and do not forget the matches!

2. Election food to cook is very important because there is not much flexibility with the heat and does not last forever. Due to the lack of flexibility, avoid fatty foods like sausages as these simply spray grease on the coals and cause outbreaks. As I said, the flames burn food, but not only that, the flames wasted energy and coal will not last long. Try the fish fillets and other lean cuts of meat.

3. It is an expensive piece of equipment which is not expected to enamel grid. The best advice I can give is to brush the grill with oil before placing any food on it and this will prevent sticking, especially when cooking fish.

One final point, is as he says, "disposable", so if you just finished your meal outdoors, please take care of their environment and have remains a responsible manner.
