Best New Paperback Westerns
I need to find the title or author of a western about a hunchback orphan who becomes a buffalo hunter.?

I read this book in paperback form about 15 years. ago. I thought it was called "Country", but I've done tons of searching with that title or titles similar and have not found the right book. I also thought that the author's name was Tom (not remember the name) and I have no where with that either. It's a pretty thick book. I would find it and be able to read it. I thought it was a wonderful book. Is west of fiction and took place in 1800. I would love it if someone could help me find this book's title! Thanks!
