Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the family fishing festival held in September by the Chattahoochee National Fish Hatchery at Rock Creek. During the day-long event, the Hatchery will offer exhibits educational, casting and fly tying demo classes, information and environmental conservation. There is no charge for children to fish, so bring poles and bait, and maybe dinner at your rental cabin in North Georgia will be locally caught trout!
