But we to consider these points before choosing grills. Once you decide what grill suits your needs, then use this guide to help you choose the features you want with your grill.
Gas Grill:
First let me start with the gas grill. Gas grills give you the maximum control over temperature, and are much easier to start a charcoal fire. Other points to consider when looking at the gas grill option.
The construction of the gas grill: Choose between gas grills that are made from high quality steel. They should have a stew in the end, or a thick, steel quality stainless steel body.
The Basic Features: Your basic gas grill includes a grill, food quality, burners, and metal bars at an angle. Lava rocks or ceramic briquettes to distribute the heat evenly.
Look for a gas grill that has at least two burners, and a angled metal piece on the burners. Lava rocks collect the grease, causing asthma attacks. These features allow for better heat control.
Other amenities: Side burners are an option in some grills, and allow you to cook dishes and sauces, keeping each part of the cooking process in one place. Condiment holders and tables across add convenience to your gas grill.
Advantages of gas grills: As stated before, gas grills are very easy to initiate, in most cases with a button or rotating. Other accessories to consider are electric grills, smokers, and the vapors to expand your options from the grill. Finally, the cleaning is simple.
Disadvantages of gas grills: grills gas is considerably more expensive than charcoal grills. And usually, food cooked on a gas grill does not quite have the smoke and the intensity of flavor you get of a charcoal grill.
Charcoal Grill:
The staunchest of charcoal grill that will tell users there is no grid to consider. The whole process of construction and operation of fire is a big part of the excitement of the charcoal grill.
Construction of the charcoal grill: As with gas grills, find a body that is constructed of high grade steel. A baked-on finish is better than a painted one. The pieces that are welded instead of bolted are better.
The basic features: The grids are in charcoal grills are either plated or stainless steel. This will make them easier to clean and resistant to rust. Wooden handles or plastic will help open the lid without burning. Choose a charcoal grill that is large enough to allow room for the grill to indirect fire. You want to be able to build a fire on one side of the pit of fire instead of two. This gives a better heat control.
Other facilities: A hinged grill food allows you to add more coal plant when necessary. A charcoal grill with a thermometer is very useful.
Advantages of charcoal grills: They are generally much cheaper than gas grills. And give food a stronger smoke flavor.
Disadvantages of charcoal grills: charcoal can sometimes be difficult to light, and when they do, it takes quite a bit longer to get ready for cooking. Heat is often difficult to regulate. Cleaning is more difficult than with gas grills.
