Spend a day with children in the farm country of New Jersey pick pumpkins, and time permitting, add on a hay ride or a trip to the corn maze. In the fall, the camp during the day from New Jersey becomes a landscape of bright-leaf padded with shades and the night sky is clear and crisp bright stars.
The pumpkin picking season begins in New Jersey as early as Sept. 15, with peak activity October 1 â € "October 15, with the season ending on Halloween, and on some farms in early November.

The South Jersey Pumpkin Show – Fifth Annual Economic Family Fall Festival, 13 October 2007, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds, 3001 Caramel Road, Millville, NJ (856) 765-0118 – More than 150 artists and artisans, professionals Fall / Winter Home & Garden Expo, Bluegrass and Country Bands, Largest Grown Pumpkin Weigh Off, Little Miss Pumpkin Show, Halloween Extravaganza, hayrides, Skillet Toss, Amusement Rides, Scarecrow truckloads of pumpkins and mothers. Pumpkin growers and backyard gardeners in New Jersey and neighboring states are invited to make their biggest pumpkin squash weight at noon. The first 200 children to the exhibition will receive pumpkins free pumpkin. $ 3 general admission and children under six are free.
