Spend a day with children in the farm country of New Jersey pick pumpkins, and time permitting, add on a hay ride or a trip to the corn maze. In the fall, the camp during the day from New Jersey becomes a landscape of bright-leaf padded with shades and the night sky is clear and crisp bright stars.

The pumpkin picking season begins in New Jersey as early as Sept. 15, with peak activity October 1 â € "October 15, with the season ending on Halloween, and on some farms in early November.

Pick-Your-Own farms vary in the activities offered, from the holding itself only offers a choice for those who have a wide range of activities including hay rides, corn maze, animals and many Halloween attractions.
