Lee Ann Whipper is not only a beautiful lady. She owns her own barbecue catering business "Wood Chicks" based in Virginia, has two known barbecue restaurants, has its own range of sauces and rubs, and to boot, is a successful professional competitor with more than $ $ 170,000 prize in his name.
No wonder that Lee Ann Whipper is currently one of seven competitors in the barbecue Pitmasters TLC currently emitting vieing 10pm/9c Thursday for $ 40,000 prize found hanging in the balance between her and her fellow competitors including Myron Mixon, Tuffy Stone, Harry Soo, Paul Petersen, Jamie Geer and Johnny Trigg.
Interestingly, Lee Ann favors the use of a Jedmaster (smoker grill) and minor cuts, used the WSM Weber Smokey Mountain and Green Egg ceramic no.
Whipped Lee Ann's Barbecue Grilling Tips
1. Grill grates should be cleaned or scraped before grilling and oil (ie vegetables, olive oil) should be applied with a cloth to prevent sticking.

Besides continue professionally for 15yrs Hotel Catering, BBQ competed in and won numerous awards.
In 2002, Lee Ann Whipped decided that his love of barbecue and the experience in the restaurant would be the perfect combination to start "Wood Chicks BBQ" catering and team competition in 2002.
Her catering business became a success and branched into selling barbecue at fairs and local festivals including Neptune Festival, Suffolk Peanut Festival Pungo Strawberry Festival Days of the driver and the Chesapeake Jubilee.
Contests state continued with the most recent winner of 2009 Virginia State BBQ Grand Champion!
Due to growth and demand of wood Chicks wanted to bring authentic smoked barbecue grill locally available 7 days a week to its customers. To meet to the desire of all customers local BBQ Wood Chicks BBQ restaurant opened in February 2005 and a second location in April 2008 to 1025 N. Battlefield Blvd.
